Lake Baldwin Park

A sandy lakeside outing with room to roam.

Lake Baldwin combines a designated off-leash area with a sandy dog beach in a 23.16-acre park. Dogs can enjoy the shoreline, subject to posted water-access notices; people may not swim. Two pavilions, a dock, restrooms and a boat ramp make this a different kind of outing from a neighborhood dog run. Gas-powered boat engines are prohibited.

• Off-leash activity is limited to the designated fenced area. Leash dogs when entering, leaving and in parking areas.
• One guardian may supervise up to three dogs; more require another adult. Keep dogs within sight and voice control.
• Puppies younger than four months and dogs in heat are not allowed. Display current vaccination tags on collars.
• Clean up after your dog, remove aggressive dogs and do not leave dogs unattended.
• Owners are responsible for injury or damage. Exchange contact and vaccination information after an incident.
• Children under five are restricted from the off-leash area; children under twelve need an adult. Read the full rules for other restrictions.
